Robert Choy is a Director and Financial Advisor who brings more than 26 years of experience helping individuals and families manage their financial lives with clarity and confidence. His career spans some of the most respected firms in the financial services industry. Prior to his current role, he served as Director of Financial Planning at Edelman Financial Engines, following nearly a decade as a Vice President and Financial Consultant at Fidelity Investments. Earlier in his career, he held advisory roles with Smith Barney (Morgan Stanley) and Merrill Lynch.
He holds the Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®) and Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designations and maintains Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses. Robert earned a Master of Urban & Regional Planning and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Hawaii, an academic background that informs his structured, design-oriented approach to complex financial planning.
Outside of his professional work, Robert supports organizations including Humane Society Silicon Valley and The Variety School of Hawaii. He enjoys drawing, reading, art and architecture, staying active, and taking long morning walks with his dog, Mattie.
